Dove III has been sold
Thanks for your interest.
Dove III was purpose built by famed sailor and boat builder Winston Bushnell for sailing the Northwest Passage. It became the 4th boat in recorded history to make the entire passage in a single season. The boat was built in 1994 and made the voyage in 1995.
Dove III is in dry dock in Anacortes, Washington right now. Our intent was to get Dove back on the water and do some sailing around the San Juan Islands. As life would have it we haven’t found the necessary time to put into the boat. Other hobbies and adventures are calling us in other directions. I’d like to sell Dove III to someone passionate about boating and who really wants a dependable craft to adventure anywhere they want to go on the planet.
There are a few images included below. If you’d like to see more photos let me know and I can either send them to you directly or I’ll expand this page. I can show you the boat in person by appointment. Please email me if you have any comments or questions at matt@primalnw.com.
